Bunker convention certificate

Issued under provision of

International Convention on Civil Liability for Bunker Oil Pollution Damage (BUNKER)

It is an evidence issued by flag state that the vessel insurance cover damage results from bunkering operation or by bunker itself

as per the convention, it is not a must to the get this certificate by the flag state of the ship, but any member state of the convention can issue it for any ship

Requirements for bunker certificate are:

• copy of the registry certificate
• Copy of the P&I policy showing cover for bunker damage
