Continuous synopsis record

Continuous synopsis record was firstly introduced by ISPS code

It is a certificate to indicate all essential information about the ship such as

• Vessel name
• IMO
• owner name
• charterer
• Recognized organization which issues DOC, SMC and ISSC
• Class society which issues class hull and machinery
• Date registration under current flag state started

If any of the above information changed, new CSR must be issued which take a new no , all CSRs issued are nombered in no serial

Ceased CSR also takes a no in the serial and the new CSR under the new flag starts at the next no

All issued documents shall be kept together on board ship available for PSC or flag state inspection

When vessel is deleted, a specific deletion CSR has to be issued
